“Values people!” – is the special motto of the Tollwood Winter Festival, which takes place from 26 November to 31 December at the Theresienwiese in Munich. It is an urgent, respectful appeal to show a positive attitude. This is because Values are the core of what holds our society together. They are our guiding principles and affect the way we deal with our environment and the world we live in. At a time when we are living at the expense of future generations, when the loss of biodiversity and climate change are continuing unabated, when nationalism is on the rise and the framework of global peace is being shaken, it is absolutely essential that we put our values to the test. The Tollwood Winter Festival is devoting itself to this challenge with discussions at the World Salon, installations and works of art.
