Boogiemen‘s Friends

176 keys, 20 nimble fingers, groove and joy of playing – these are the characteristics of the boogie woogie and blues duo Marc Hupfer and Ulrich Zenkel from Bamberg. Ulrich Zenkel is strongly influenced by the powerful, energetic playing of Albert Ammons, his great role model, Marc Hupfer’s style, influenced by Vince Weber among others, is closer to the blues – so their joint playing has a wide range of piano – boogie and blues.
