Hundling

Phil Höcketstaller, a native of Landshut, is the creative head of Hundling. He founded the Bavarian music group project in his adopted home of Munich. The Erdinger Tagblatt describes the works of the five-member band as “critical, close to home, romantic and philosophical […]”. The musical cocktail that Hundling mixes is critical of the barely affordable housing, addresses banal incidents from everyday life in Munich or deals with failed dreams and weird declarations of love. The musical style is as multifaceted as the content: Between country and reggae, blues and folk rock, Hundling entertains the audience with wordplay and stage presence.
