The John Barden Clan consists of John Barden (Irish Bouzouki, guitar & vocals), John-P. Barden (git, banjo, voc) and Florian Schanz (keys, voc). John Barden has been touring Germany with his three solo programs for over 30 years now. He connects his songs with the history of Ireland and integrates this with his own stories. His son John-Patrick Barden alias JP has been part of the line-up at John’s performances for a long time. He is a strong support through his fantastic guitar and tenor banjo playing, but also more and more through singing and harmony vocals. Florian Schanz has a classical piano education. During a study stay in Belfast he then discovered his love for Ireland and Irish music.
