Tzigan Trio

The Argentinean “Tzigan Gypsy Tango Trio” combines traditional Roma melodies from Eastern Europe with the longing of Argentinean tango.  The melodies, sung in Romani and Russian or simply instrumentalized, are transformed into true stories full of passion and joie de vivre, describing Roma traditions and scenarios: Spring mornings, campfires, cold nights, the gallop of horses in the distance, wind, dances, flirtations, dreams … The trio – Alejandro Montero (guitar, vocals), David Macchione (violin, vocals), Juan Sans (accordion) – invites the listener to discover the fire of these melodies of Eastern Europe and the soul of Argentine tango.
