The Sweet Simones

On their debut album Pocket Moon, The Sweet Simones combine the swing sound of the 30’s and 40’s with a pop concept and can therefore be classified stylistically in the swing projects of Robbie Williams, Brian Setzer and Postmodern Jukebox. The Munich band feel noticeably committed to the loud energy of the Neo-Swing by Royal Crown Revue and Cherrie Poppin’ Daddies and fathom the genre from the rousing swing in pop song format to the soulful jazz ballad in a party-suited and varied way.
