Review: Winter Festival 2019
A wonderful festival is now over.
“Values People!“ was the motto and was an urgent, respectful appeal to show a positive attitude. Values are the core of what holds our society together. At a time when we are living at the expense of future generations, when the loss of biodiversity and climate change are continuing unabated, when nationalism is on the rise and the framework of global peace is being shaken, it is absolutely essential that we put our values to the test. The “World Salon” addressed the question of values and our responsibility for the (survival of) life on our planet.
Recirquel, the Hungarian New Circus Company, presented their latest show, and a German premiere, “Paris de Nuit” which takes visitors on a journey through the vibrant Paris nightlife of the 1930s. In the unique ambience of the Spiegel Tent, excellent dancers, singers and musicians revealed moments of dazzling characters: artists, muses and bohemians.
A wonderful festival is now over. Tollwood says thank you to all artists and participants, partners and visitors – and goodbye!
