Johnny & The Yooahoos

Johnny & the Yooahoos do one thing for sure, and that’s having fun: three-part vocals, banjo, mandolin, guitar, upright bass, no electronics. With this mixture, the bluegrass-pop band from the Munich region finds its place between city haze and rural idyll, nostalgia for the past and a look ahead or into the present. So the listener gets besides rapid stompers here and there a ballad, an instrumental solo or even an a capella piece. Even though the four have dedicated themselves to bluegrass music, elements from country, folk, blues or gospel find their way into their pieces due to the individual musical influences of the band members. A listening experience for everyone who is willing to let handmade music fill their ears.
