The Hot Stuff Band

“Hot Stuff” from Jazz and Swing is played by the quasi Big Band around Heinz Dauhrer, Butch Kellem, John Brunton, Eric Steven and Hermann Roth. Striking in their performance are the dynamic big band-like riffs and “call & response” improvisation between trumpet and trombone. Their repertoire includes songs from the 30s and jazz classics as well as funky and Caribbean rhythms from the 70s. Brand new in their program they also have interpretations of selected songs from famous Walt Disney movies.
