Live report “Grad°jetzt – Gegen die Angst” with Louisa Schneider

“Now more than ever! Voices that make a difference – Wednesdays for peace, democracy, and the environment”

Together, we can prevent the end of the world. In her live report “Grad°jetzt – Gegen die Angst” (Right Now – Against Fear), climate journalist and presenter Louisa Schneider takes the audience on a journey to places where the climate crisis is already a reality today.

She has been to Brazil, where the rainforest is burning; to Senegal, where entire beaches are disappearing; to Canada and Greenland, where the ice is cracking; and she has dived among the corals of the Great Barrier Reef. Everywhere she went, she met courageous people who are already the most affected and yet are fearlessly working for a better future. With impressive images, stories, and encounters, Louisa shows how we can overcome fear and rethink our world—full of hope, humor, and empathy.

Admission to the events in the series “Now more than ever! Voices that move” is free.

About Louisa Schneider:
Louisa Schneider is a trained climate journalist, presenter, and storyteller. Whether on social media, on the streets, or as a speaker on stage, she educates people about the climate crisis and wins them over to the necessary ecological and social transformation. After four years at Südwestrundfunk, she launched the international project “grad° jetzt” at the end of 2022 in collaboration with Greenpeace and nature photographer Markus Mauthe. Since then, she has been reporting globally on the climate crisis and focusing on the voices of the people who are already most affected by it today. She is convinced that another world is possible and that it will come.

An event in cooperation with Greenpeace.
