Freedom does not always mean letting go of everything, but learning to live with what holds us. When you try to do this, life sometimes feels like it is constantly repeating itself – like an echo in your head and heart. But it doesn’t always have to be depressing to experience this – as the two comedians who are caught in an endless loop on stage show. In “EchO”, ymedioteatro tells a touching yet humorous story about life, relationships and the eternal game of repetition. From July 1 to 6, the Spanish company will be making a guest appearance at the Tollwood Theaterlabor at the summer festival and will delight audiences with a mixture of magical acting, precise choreography, puppetry, object and clown art. Accompanied by music and lighting effects, ymedioteatro takes the audience on a journey through the depths of human connections – poetic, visual and laugh-out-loud profound. A sometimes absurd, moving echo of life.

A unique pop-up theatre is being created under the trees at the Tollwood Summer Festival. In the Tollwood Theaterlabor, puppet and object theatre, music and narrative art merge. Extraordinary productions, poetic stories and intense encounters make theatre a new experience. The audience sits close to the stage and experiences every nuance directly. After the last event of the day, the audience can linger in the Tollwood Theaterlabor and chat with the artists over a drink. A space full of inspiration and creativity.
