Light-footed and freshly groomed, there is no confusion when the band Udo West gets on stage. The group brings their mixture of pop and funk with German lyrics and synth sounds to the stage with Neue-Deutsche-Welle- nostalgia. Their songs are sometimes soulful, sometimes ironic and deal with the highs and lows of everyday life – always with a twinkle in their eye.
