The bar counter is not a destination, but a beginning. Beyond it, a space unfolds that inspires and creates connection. The Herzkammer is part of the anatomical heart, the central symbol of this year’s summer festival. From here, the path doesn’t lead outward, but directly inward—to what concerns us and what we can change: our present.

The universal language of art enables children with refugee experience to process what they have been through, find their own voice, and express their outlook on the future. The Refugio Kunstwerkstatt provides the much-needed space for this: supporting refugee children and young people through the means of art.
