Starting this summer, Tollwood’s new “Local Tuesday” series will shine a spotlight on the region’s circus arts. On two Tuesdays, the amphitheater will serve as a platform for professional artists and up-and-coming talents from Munich and the surrounding area, showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of the local scene.

ZwischenTurm Collective
In its piece, the Munich-based ZwischenTurm Collective explores the tensions between chaos and order, limitation and freedom, and the search and arrival.
Bodies layer upon one another, fly, tilt, and are caught. Acrobatics becomes language—direct and physical.
Hailing from Munich and the surrounding area, the ZwischenTurm collective was founded by ambitious acrobats who now aim to bring their shared passion to the stage with their first piece.
