Influenced early on by the records of his parents and grandparents, Bosnian-born lead singer and songwriter Zlatko Pašalić blends the sounds of the 1960s with influences from the Balkans and the Orient. His melodic songwriting features poetic lyrics in English and Serbo-Croatian, often in harmonious polyphony, casting the driving rhythms in a new light. Along with Rüdiger Sinn, Pašalić is considered “one of the best songwriting duos since Lennon-McCartney” by BR Puls.
