Tolyqyn

Tolyqyn is known for its joy in improvisation and stylistically diverse experiments. At every concert, the multinational trio from Berlin-Kreuzberg embarks on a musical expedition into the sonic spheres of rock, folk, West African Kora music and the musical roots of the Maghreb. Roland Satterwhite’s authentic viola playing and lyrics paired with his expressive voice perfectly complement the virtuosity of guitar prodigy Tal Arditi and drummer Rafat Muhammad.
