Solid Ground

Solid Ground, the Modern Poetry Folk Band around singer Simone Papke, shows the great joy of experimenting with seven musicians, who are on their way through Ireland with W. B. Yeats and other Irish poets. The result is exciting poetry settings, sometimes they sound unconventional, wonderfully weird and then again soft and enchantingly light. In addition there are rousing own instrumental pieces, which fuse different styles with traditional Irish folk music, go to genre borders and are really fun.
