How to get to Tollwood

Olympiapark Süd
Spiridon-Louis-Ring
80809 Munich

We recommend coming to the Tollwood festival by public transport and bicycle.

Please note: On Sat 15 July there will be slight restrictions on travelling to the Tollwood Festival due to a parallel major event (Sommernachtstraum) in the Olympiapark.

Crossing the Olympiapark is only possible to a very limited extent on this day. We therefore do not recommend taking the U3 via the Olympiazentrum stop. If you arrive with the U3, please change at Scheidplatz. If the number of visitors is very high, it is possible that the StadtBus 144 will temporarily be unable to reach the Olympiaberg stop. In this case, please get off at the Spiridon-Louis-Ring stop to visit the festival.

Below you will find the various ways to get to Tollwood by public transport.

FAQs

On the festival grounds in the Olympiapark, north of the Musik-Arena, there are designates parking spaces for people with impairments. Only people with a special certificate (blue parking permit) are allowed to park there. To avoid misuse, this will only be accepted in conjunction with an official document confirming personal details (severely disabled person’s ID card, identity card, driving licence).

Access via Ackermannstraße at the corner of Spiridon-Louis-Ring.

The stewards at the gateway are instructed to let vehicles with a certificate of disability (blue parking permit) pass through, up to the gate at the entrance of the festival. Here the stewards will show you the exact parking spot. We ask for your understanding that there is only a limited number of spaces available,.
If these parking spaces are occupied, the vehicle has to be parked at the parking area of the Olympia Park (Parkharfe Olympiastadion).

There are no parking spaces at the Summer Festival. Tollwood asks his visitors to take public tranportation or the bike to the festival.
