Mirage

With “Mirage”, the company Dyptik creates new connections between colours, rhythms and emotions. And this to musical cultures from all over the world. The starting point of their dance journey is the Balata refugee camp in the West Bank, an unreal place where rusty roofs meet colourful clothes and suffering meets elegance. The music, the voices and the dancers resound and appear from all sides. The audience becomes part of the performance, moving freely and following what they are attracted to. In this way, the piece becomes an individual experience. “Mirage” is a lullaby that becomes a revolution, a dirge that becomes a party, a call for union and love.
