Roland Meyer de Voltaire is an obsessive creative, singer, producer of film music, songwriter for German and international artists. In his solo project SCHWARZ he combines lyrical string arrangements and powerful beats with sensitive and reflective lyrics. His voice sometimes flows like silk, sometimes cuts like a blade. Roland Meyer de Voltaire always found a home in encounters with people and not in nations and idealized places. Schwarz’s songs are touching with this message. The bandwidth of musical collaborators is correspondingly large. It ranges from established artists like Schiller or Archive member Craig Walker to up-and-coming national artists like Enno Bunger to electro producer and film music composer Robot Koch.
