Jazz has an Arab affair

The love for oriental melody, the fascination for Arabic rhythms as well as the passion for improvisation form the basis of the compositions that drummer/composer Harry Alt has written especially for this ensemble. It often sounds almost folksonglike, in the next moment more like world music in Arabic jazz. A wonderful mixture!
