As an energetic live band, PASSEPARTOUT not only knocks hip-hop fans out of their sneakers. The group from Hanover brings real instruments with stable raps and catchy hooks to the stages of the Tollwood Summer Festival.
Celebration and wanderlust are as much the focus of their content as political and social issues and injustices. With their German-French lyrics, they make a strong case for cosmopolitanism and a community based on solidarity. Whether in front of thousands of people in sold-out halls or as a guerrilla action in shopping streets – what counts is the community and the concentrated energy.
