Joelma Marques Trio

Here, samba, bossa nova, forró and música popular brasileira meet: Joelma Marques sings both her own compositions and songs from the rich treasury of 20th century Brazilian music. In addition to her work as a musician, Joelma Marques is a philosopher and has lectured at the Universidade Federal do Ceará in Brazil. She therefore also incorporates philosophical thoughts in her musical performances. The musician will be accompanied by Brazilian guitarist Abdallah Harati and percussionist Valdir Ferreira-Mendes.
