With guitar, harmonica and unbridled mouth, Weiherer presents a kind of unprepared chat with sound interlude. The “Lower Bavarian brutal poet”, as the press once dubbed him, moves artistically somewhere between musical cabaret, songwriting, quirky stories and political activism. His performances are more roughly carved craft than finely honed art, and his hilarious observations of everyday life have long since become cult. Weiherer is certainly not stingy with sharp-tongued criticism and ribald sayings.
