Not only the instrumentation of The Ukelites is unusual – besides the ukulele also ukulele bass, baritone saxophone, or a Hawaiian steel guitar are used – but also the title selection. This ranges from classics of the Great American Songbook over 60s Soul to old Western Swing, to surprises from the pop world or Hawaiian exotica. Always with the special charm of this quartet around the ukulele playing singer Miriam Hein.
