For the project „Bio für Kinder“

On 18th April 2008, Tollwood and the City of Munich received the “Green-Apple-Award 2007” for the project “Bio für Kinder”. The greeting words: “Remarkably, the Tollwood Ltd. managed to reduce the use of conventional products in kindergartens, schools and day care centres and to switch to organic products (…)”

Norbert Lettau, Hamburg’s Director of the Senate of the Department of Social and Family Affairs, Health and Consumer Protection, handed the award to Mayor of Munich, Christine Strobl and  Anja Lechner, Member of the Tollwood Mangement.
The “Green-Apple-Award” is the international award of the Healthy-Cities-project by WHO and has been awarded to people, institutions, projects and companies that are committed to environmental and health issues in an exemplary and sustainable manner.
