Every living being has a counterpart on the other side of the earth – and yet they grow further apart with every step. At the Tollwood Summer Festival from June 24 to 29, Compagnia Dromosofista takes its audience to the antipodes; the opposites of the world. Accompanied by captivating live music, told with shadow and miniature figures, puppets and physical acting, the artists embark on a metaphysical journey – surreal, contradictory and poetic. The internationally acclaimed company from Italy and Argentina brings puppet theater to Munich with a production that goes completely without language.

A unique pop-up theatre is being created under the trees at the Tollwood Summer Festival. In the Tollwood Theaterlabor, puppet and object theatre, music and narrative art merge. Extraordinary productions, poetic stories and intense encounters make theatre a new experience. The audience sits close to the stage and experiences every nuance directly. After the last event of the day, the audience can linger in the Tollwood Theaterlabor and chat with the artists over a drink. A space full of inspiration and creativity.
