The five Munich-based musicians of Salome Fur deliver a catchy mix of ska, reggae, and rocksteady. The band—whose members hail from scene heavyweights like Jamaram, BeNUTS, and the Steamy Dumplings—brings intense emotion, passion, and groove to the Tollwood Summer Festival. In addition to classic Jamaican influences, their sound takes you from Kingston Town Airport in Jamaica, through New Orleans, Detroit, Chicago, and New York, across the pond to Liverpool and Swinging London. Each of their concerts is unique, featuring plenty of improvisation, audience interaction, and a touch of humor.
