New Blues

Muddy What? shows that you don’t have to be old and full of life to play blues. The three young musicians describe their musical style as “New Blues”, which means that blues doesn’t always have to sound the same, old-fashioned or even dusty! The siblings Fabian and Ina Spang as well as Michi Lang put on a new dress for the traditional style with a lot of respect for its roots. With great flexibility the trio, existing since 2006, presents itself on stage with either electric or acoustic setup. They don’t know any rigid procedures, but develop with a considerable heap of improvisational freedom and technical security again and again, carry along and touch.
