This winter the Tollwood festival will cross the big waterways of the fantastic story about the adventures of Peter Pan. Told thousand of times, Peter Pan will be presented in a complete different way.

Peter Pan 

The Tollwood-new version Peter Pan shows “the eternal boy” with two faces: Peter Pan as an aged actor, who played Pan in his glory days and looks back to old times, when he was famous. And there is Peter Pan from today, a boy torn between the aspiration for independence and fear of his own courage. All known characters of Matthew Barrie’s original will be part in this production, but everything will be a little bit different: Peter Pan’s Neverland is a circus arena.

Director Sven Grunert, long term assistant of Giorgio Strehler and manager of “Kammerspiele Landshut” will tell the battle against the evil pirate Hook.

Stage and costumes are created by Helmut Stürmer, a famous stage designer, who worked already for the legendary “LaMama Theatre” in New York and André Heller’s “Flic Flac”.

Music for the duel between good and evil is composed by the band  “Konnexion Balkon” with their dreamlike, light and passionate music.

Stefan Marquard

He is not only TV-cook and the head of the “Jolly Roger Cooking Gang” but he is considered as “The buccaneer of the kitchen”: Stefan Marquard is very suitable for the culinary composition of Peter Pan. He accompanies the production with an ingenious 4 - course menu in top-level organic quality.

At Tollwood Festival he will be supported by the professional catering team Arena One.
