Summerfestival 2012
»Beautiful views – nice prospects« – this is the motto of this year’s Tollwood Summerfestival. Starting on Friday 29th of June, the Tollwood Summer Festival invites music and culture enthusiasts, grown-ups, teens and children to the Olympiapark in Munich, Germany. Within 25 days, until Tuesday 24th of July, fascinating theatre groups and performing artists meet amidst the scenery of the colourful »market of ideas«, while the sound of music from all over the world pours from the tents.
By the way: More than 75 percent of all performances, ranging from walk-acts, concerts to environmental activities or kids entertainment, are non-ticketed and free!

Vorratskammer
How could seven billion people in the world be nourished? At Tollwood you will find a pantry in the middle of a field showing a world in between hunger and throwaway society. Tollwood and its partner Naturland are fighting for an increased awareness of the handling of food.

Theatre
The view onto stage is always a view into another world. The theatre program offers beautiful views – nice prospects – also in its double sense meaning. For example: climate change is the content of a spectacular vertical artistic theatre.
